PSCCU Member wins $60,000.00

An unsuspecting member of the Grenada Public Service Credit Union turns out the winner of $60,000 (sixty Thousand dollars). Ironically, he got the news recently while going about his daily business in New York, amid the prevailing public discussion on the effects of a global economic slowdown.

Mr. Francis Jones who has been living in the US for over 20 years, automatically qualified last year by saving at least $1000 monthly during the PSCU's 2 year 60th Anniversary promotion. Members who introduced 6 approved members also qualified for the draw.

The soft spoken senior says hearing that he struck the bonanza was a welcome interruption for him in the big Apple:

"The call came somewhat out of the blue he said... but I am very happy to have won.."

General Manager of the Credit Union Mrs. Lucia Livingston-Andall extended congratulations by telephone to Mr. Jones on behalf of the organization.
